Traditional Chinese Lion Dance has been performed for centuries to provide entertainment, protection, and good fortune. The 9 Dragons Lion Dance Team is led by Instructor Janeen Lantry and has represented 9 Dragons Kung Fu in performances across the valley for more than three years.

Who We Are
Operating out of 9 Dragons Kung Fu Academy, the 9 Dragons Lion Dance team was founded to learn and preserve the cultural practice of Chinese Lion Dance, both as a performance art and competition piece. We are a team of martial artists who use our strength and martial skill to bring the Lion Dance to life. We have performed on stage, in schools, restaurants, for corporate events, Lunar New Year, and educational presentations. Wherever you want to hold a Lion Dance and for whatever occasion, we can make your event truly memorable.
9 Dragons Kung Fu Academy
Operating since 2007, the school is taught by Sifu Michael Kaneen and Simu Tamara Kaneen. The school offers a diverse curriculum of Chinese martial arts and honors distinguished lineages of Grand Master Jerry Cook and Grand Master Xiao Puquan.
